The Tool

  1. 1

    What this is

A companion tool for the Turing Machine deduction board game. Each player is dealt six criteria cards describing rules about a hidden 3-digit code (a triangle, square, and circle value, each 1-5). This tool tracks your cards and helps you cross off codes as you deduce which rules are true.

  2. 2

    Set up your game

On the Play page, enter a game code (any label you like) and the number (1-48) printed on each of your six criteria cards, one per section A-F.

  3. 3

    Narrow it down

Each card shows its rule as a set of checked options. Once you deduce that an option is false, uncheck it — every code matching that option dims in the number grid. Checking it back on undoes that.

  4. 4

    Mark codes yourself

You can also cross things off directly: click a value in the triangle/square/circle grid to dim every code sharing that value, or click a single code to toggle just that one. "Clear All Selected" resets every checkbox and manual mark.
